This piece was inspired by Betty Blue 37.2°, one of the films that stuck with me the most. I kept thinking about what it must have been like for Jorg to be the one to let Betty go after watching her struggle in a world that was too small for her—like a cage. But I also wanted to capture a moment of beauty from their time together. Her life was short, but at least she had Jorg by her side. And maybe, for a while, that was enough.
