My name is Jules. I was born in a small seaside town in Korea.
The ocean of my childhood was both warm and terrifying—like the corn my grandmother used to boil on rainy days, comforting and familiar, yet at times so vast and overwhelming that it felt as if it could swallow me whole. Maybe that’s why I often dream of water, finding myself drifting between memories and imagination. I love the sea, and sometimes, I think that when my journey ends, I’d like to return to it.
But until that day comes, there is still so much I want to see, feel, and experience. I’ve always believed that love is what keeps life moving forward. It doesn’t have a fixed shape, but it lingers—in the smallest moments, in the quiet details we don’t always notice.
I hope that when you look at my work, you can feel love in all its forms—warm but sometimes cruel, fleeting yet unforgettable.
